Choose joy always
Why... because why not?
Give me one good reason you can't turn your day around right now and simply be joyful.
Joyful for your surroundings.
Joyful for life.
Joyful for all God has so graciously provided for you.
Be joyful always. (1 Thessalonians 5:16)
Be joyful always. (1 Thessalonians 5:16)
God did not stutter... always means always. Choosing joy is surrenduring to the work of the Holy Spirit. Our joy is for God's glory.
Its no secret, it isn't hidden; it is all laid out before us.
Our relationship with God is like any relationship you have. You need communication, it doesn't work without communication. The more time we spend with someone and take the time to listen and understand them, the happier we are. Same thing with our relationship with God, the more we are like this and do this with God, the happier we are in him. Simple, yet powerful truth. Our happiness in God coincides with our holiness. God is serious about his followers living in joy. Being joyful and glorifying God shouldn't conflict. If you are pursuing joy with your whole life is to honor the one who gave you life.
Joy comes from God.
Joy comes from God.
Joy was created in the character of God.
Joy was born in the person of Jesus Christ.
Gospel means “message bringing joy.”
I am acting with great boldness toward you; I have great pride in you; I am filled with comfort. In all our affliction, I am overflowing with joy.
(2 Corinthians 7:4)
(2 Corinthians 7:4)
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
