one semester down

CollEGe! wOw!!!
I don't even know where to begin. I am overflowing with joy.
I can't even begin to describe the things God has been doing in my life these past couple of months. In August of 2017, I moved from my hometown in where I lived for my entire life, to Oklahoma. Kind of insane, at least for me it was.
I've met so many amazing people its mind blowing, like I can't even describe to you how they have each impacted my life in a big or small ways.
There are so many things I could tell y'all but its one of those 'had to be there' things. I hate to say that but it is. So I am just going to focus on what I've learned this semester the good and the bad.
Let me list it out for you it might make sense more...maybe
- I've never felt like more 'myself' ever.
- God is showing me that I am in fact a people person. I love people. I love spending time with people
- I learned my love language is quality time. No surprise there haha
- I said YES to more things which was a goal of mine and I think I accomplished that one well
- I started caring less what other people think of me
- I can't do it all
- Challenged myself spiritually
- its okay to miss home
- patience
- coffee is good
- tea is also good
- don't ever take a 7 am EVER again
- don't rely on elevators
- it's okay to ask questions
- you can't please everyone
- run to God not people
That's what I learned in my first semester of college. and these picture are only SOME of the people that i've met and LOVE and care for dearly.
God moved in my life BIG time and I grew BIG time, but I'm challenging myself a step further this semester. I am beyond excited to see what else God has in-store for everyone.
love, Celine

COFFEE SHOP HOPPIN

HELLO SWEET FRIENDS
It has been way too long since I've updated everyone! But I have completed my first semester of college!!! I know post on that coming soon life has been sweeping me of my feet lately, in a good way of course!! But my birthday was the yesterday the 6th! Whoo 19!! I feel so old lol.
All I wanted for my birthday was some quality time with my best friends (AKA my mom and Fallon) and coffee! I researched the best coffee shops in the Dallas area for a couple days and our first stop was the Local Press +Brew. Very asthetically pleasing but very small.
The exterior of the building was beautiful and the coffee got an A+ from me they make their own Almond Milk! so good! I also went for the vegan donuts sadly they were out of them.
We originally weren't planning on hoping around but there were so many we couldn't pick just one! My mom was so patient with me bless her soul lol!
People say I look like her, I don't see it... HA
We visited 3 more coffee shops!! and had many laughs and experiences! it was quite a day and I'm very thankful for the time I get here at home before I go back to school.
thank you all for the birthday wishes im going to live it up in my last teen year
love, Celine
tea time thoughts

Tea Time Thoughts
I literally laugh about life all the time. Not to mock it, just laughing at how I try to go about life without God.
You simply can't.
I'm not a control freak, but man is it hard to just let go and pray. Sometime I fear God in ways I shouldn't. Sometime I am too afraid to open my bible because I fear the Lord won't here me or forgive me. I know this isn't true though, I know the Lords love for me and he is teaching me in so many ways, to be patient and grateful. I prayed for the time to grow and pursue him and he has so graciously granted me that. Gosh life is crazy, fun, sad and sometimes flat out hard. He is consistent he is Lord. Give him the praises of all praises; spend time in him!
Love,
Celine
Just Colorado things
October 21, 2017 • Travels
Sometimes all you need to do is drop everything and head to Colorado!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lol, a couple of weeks ago we were all just talking about our fall break and Ally mentioned she lived in Colorado!! We jokingly talked about all of us going home with her on fall break...little did we know we would actually follow through with it! I think it's honestly insane I have a friend who has lived in the mountains of CO, don't ask me why but it just is!!
So Ally Hansen, her brother, Connor, Becky, Alex, Lyndee and myself hopped in the car for a 8 1/2 hour car ride. We were only a little squished, but when you road trip with some of your best friends, the drive is so much fun!! We ate an unhealthy amount of honeybuns and jammed out to Post Malone and Lorde, for majority of our trip. BTW our arrival time was 1:30 AM, so we arrived in the middle of the night. So we didn't get to see anything but I like that because when we woke up on Friday it was a nice surprise to look out the window and see mountains (a bluff apparently lol).
I've never been to Colorado before and in the weeks leading up to this trip it brought me to tears thinking about getting to see more of God's BEAUTIFUL creation.
Ally had a whole agenda set out for us for our first full day. She took us to the Castle in Glen Eyrie and it was stunning!!! We were able to tour around in the castle by ourselves and around the grounds. Ally's mother let us borrow her camera and I took full advantage and hyped my friends up and took SO many pictures of them!! I love it, we have so many memories captured!
I think we have this whole awkward family picture thing down...
We said see ya later to our Castle, and headed over to Garden of the Gods, we decided to drive through and stop at main points. It was absolutely breath-taking.
After that we kept driving to a town called Manitou, it was so cute!! We walked around the town, shopped and ate! It was such a nice day!
You'll find me wherever the coffee is
Look how cute Ally is! and this pot was really funny we couldn't not take a picture!
I'm honestly not sure what's going on in that picture...
We stopped by this cute Custard stand on our way out of Manitou, and face-timed Hannah! Sadly she couldn't come but she was there in spirit!
Exploring way so much fun and I ma so glad I decided to come and get out of my comfort zone!
Cheesy but God is a very good artist. His wonderful creation takes my breath away daily, just as it should.
-------------------------------------------------------
Ally and her parents took us hiking at spruce mountain for our second full day in CO! It was so fun and I teared up on the last look out spot. I was realizing everything I have to be thankful and it was a good reminder that I am not in control and to have patience with God's plan for me.
Thank you to the Hansen Family for welcoming us into your home and showing us around!!
Much love,
Celine
