About Me

Hi there!

                Wow this is exciting! Lets just jump straight into this first day of school stuff, lol! My name Andrea 'Celine' Carrillo, but I go by Celine. Yes like Celine Dion. Speaking of famous singers... just kidding I am far from famous or being known for my beautiful vocals (I am actually a terrible singer, literally awful). I am from Decatur, Texas, a small and traditional north Texas town near the metroplex area. I am currently 18 years old and graduated from high school in May and I will be attending Oklahoma State University in the fall of 2017! Go Pokes!  I have 2 younger brothers, Trey and Andrew and then of course my parents. My mom is a teacher at one of the towns elementary schools and my dad is a supervisor for a local company.

           Here's a fun fact for you: Decatur has more churches than the entire Austin area. Okay, okay am I exaggerating a little? Yes, but not really. This certainly isn't a bad thing, just something that people who aren't familiar with the area tend to notice first. Decatur is cute in its own way, we have our silly elementary school rivalries and too many pizza places to count and our own settlers reunion/ fair every year to mark the ending of summer. If you ever consider visiting go to Casa Torres, best Mexican restaurant in the county! 

My family has always had roots here, my dad grew up in Decatur and my mom is from the next town over. I grew up hearing the town cheer on the football team every Friday night from my house, being able to walk less than a mile to a local grocery store and enjoying a DQ blizzard every weekend. If theres one thing I loved about growing up in a small town is how tight knight the community is. You will for sure here me say that more than once. 

        But enough about where I live, lol!

If there is one thing you should know is that I am a Christian and I am trying to learn and grow in my faith everyday. I am learning and have A LOT to learn, which is kind of what lead me to start this blog (post on that soon to come). 

I LOVE reading, softball was a very important aspect of my life. I love animals, coffee and anything and everything about WWII. Oh and how could I forget my new found loves for working out and cooking. Weird mix of stuff right? 

Well thats me, trying to take it one day at a time.

Overall God is and has always been doing amazing things in my life, and I am grateful that I have this opportunity to share some of those things with you.
